Chernobyl has its 25 years today. My aunt was among the first soviet workers who participated in the catastrophe's liquidation soon after the April 26, 1986. I remember her very specific hoarse voice as a result of radiation. Nuclear energy is a topic which requires extremely intensive public control, this lesson is quite obvious for us now.
